Hey! I’m Jocie Clancy and I’m an animator, illustrator, and writer :)

Ever since I was a kid I’ve had this fascination with people and their stories. I would spend recess drawing comics with my friends, and that has evolved into designing, writing, and animating characters with those I’ve been blessed to call both friends and co-writers.

I have a deep love for uplifting stories that focus on people who go through hardships, grow, and heal, as well as stories that depict complex, fleshed-out relationships. As a person with mental health struggles, I also love portraying how mental illness can affect people, and how to love and grow despite it.

I was born and raised in sunny Mesa, Arizona, where I still reside today. I am currently getting  an animation certificate at Mesa Community College and I’ve openede commissions where I’ll draw either fan art or people’s original characters. My goal after graduating is to do freelance animation work, and to keep developing my own stories. My dream is to one day write and animate my own tv show, or maybe create my own webcomic, but that’s in the far future.
